Linda Martell's only album is a classic of 1970s country, combining her warm and expressive voice with traditional Nashville country, soul and country-pop influences. \"Color Me Country\" features her major hit \"Color Him Father\" and shows why Martell became a groundbreaking artist in a country music scene that was, at the time, largely male-dominated and white.
