Haku means "search" in Finnish, and the X-Rap Haku lives up to its name by actively seeking out trouble with the big pike matriarchs with its cool attitude!

The X-Rap Haku is built for tough encounters with big fish and is equipped with Rapala's unique 3R system: Titanium Release Rig with VMC Coastal Black hooks. Rigged for action, the hooks are positioned just like on a regular jerkbait, while the rig is tucked into a slot in the lure's belly to avoid snagging on weeds and similar obstacles. When a fish strikes, the wire rig is released from the body, providing direct contact with the fish! This increases your landing rate as the fish has less chance to leverage against the lure body and escape. Another advantage of the rig is that it's easier to remove the hooks from the fish's mouth since the lure is out of the way.

The Haku is an incredibly easy-to-fish lure that can be used for a variety of presentations and techniques. It can be jerked in the classic style or retrieved with jerks, either fast and aggressive or slow with long pauses. When jerked, the lure quickly darts to the sides in a nice side-to-side action, and during pauses, it glides far to the side. A couple of really fast cranks between stops imitate a fleeing baitfish and attract the attention of nearby predators.

The X-Rap Haku has an incredible hang in the water, which is deadly effective in the hunt for pike.

The 3R Rapala Release Rig System is built into the lure and releases upon a strike, increasing the chances of landing the fish.

The durable rig is constructed with 100 lbs titanium wire and features a solid connection ring, heavy-duty split rings, and premium VMC Coastal Black hooks, model 4551. The lure is 14 cm long and weighs 74g.
