The Rapala Shadow Rap Solid Shad is a new little gem in the immensely popular Shadow Rap series. Thanks to the lure's design, casting both long and accurately is no problem.

The Solid Shad is built for tough conditions and fishing in fast-flowing waters where the lure bouncing off rocks, gravel, and other debris is no issue. Its hard plastic body and through-wire construction ensure the lure withstands even the largest fish strikes.

The lure is designed to sink quickly and then maintain its depth, making it perfect for targeting deep holes and similar areas in the pursuit of truly big catches.

It is best fished quickly and aggressively with short spin stops. Fast, erratic swimming motions combined with its high body profile create a lot of side flash.

The series comes in both lifelike colors and bright, attention-grabbing colors. A favorite for trout, grayling, and other stream-dwelling species, while perch are unlikely to resist either.
