US action animation based on the popular video game series. After he and his family are murdered by ninjas from a rival clan led by Sub-Zero (voice of Steve Blum), Hanzo Hasashi (Patrick Seitz) is resurrected as Scorpion and enters the upcoming 'Mortal Kombat' tournament to avenge his family. Meanwhile, thunder god and protector of Earthrealm Raiden (Dave B. Mitchell) assembles a group of warriors, including Liu Kang (Jordan Rodrigues), Johnny Cage (Joel McHale) and Sonya Blade (Jennifer Carpenter), to defeat the Outworld forces of Shang Tsung (Artt Butler) in combat.
