Here you have a wonderful sturdy cast iron frying pan specially adapted for Asian cooking and for cooking that requires higher edges on the pan. The frying pan is nicely designed and does not have the traditional round shape at the bottom that traditional woks have, but is flat and carefully molded for optimal use. It is coated with burned-in vegetable oil, which gives it such a lovely black finish. Anyone who has or has had a cast iron pot knows how long the cast iron keeps food warm, we promise this wok is no exception. It is perfectly suited to display directly on the table and becomes an ornament in any home.

Care

Always wash your cast iron pans and pots by hand with hot water without detergent. DO NOT use dishwasher!

Then dry by heating the pan on the stovetop. Store dry.

For rough cleaning of the pan, cover the bottom of the pan with coarse salt. Heat the pan at a high temperature for 1 – 2 minutes, then pour off the salt and dry the pan with paper. The product takes on a gray shade, which means that it is fine to burn the product in with new rapeseed oil:

Dry the product and apply a thin (a few drops) layer of rapeseed oil

Place the product on high heat on the stove or alternatively in the oven (products with wooden details must not be placed in the oven)

After 10-15 minutes the oil has burned in and the product is black again

If food remains are burnt on, the pans can be cleaned with svinto or similar, after which the frying pan should be burned in again. The same treatment applies to any rust.
