Brukt Playstation 3 game

Complete with box and instructions

Journey through the Celtic Netherworld of Irish mythology in the video game Folklore for the Sony PlayStation 3, which was developed by Game Republic. Its North American release date was October 9, 2007. In this game, the player takes on the roles of a young woman named Ellen and a journalist named Keats. They attempt to unravel the mysteries of a quaint little village called Doolin. They must enter the dangerous nether realms of the city. These areas are filled with folk creatures that seek to consume memories of the dead. The gameplay is in third person, and the player gets to choose whether to play as Ellen or Keats. The realm is designed to resemble the Celtic Otherworld. The graphics are one way that Folklore really shines. The Otherworld is so well-designed that some parts of the ghostly map are heartbreaking in their beauty. Other areas are threatening and ominous, taking the players character of choice through ancient battlefields. These places are haunted by the spirits of the dead. You also travel through underwater cities where threats lurk behind every corner. The battling aspect adds a good deal of depth to the game. It replaces the role-playing aspects with pure, monster-collecting carnage. Neither character actually engages in physical combat themselves but instead summon monsters called Folks. When an opposing Folk is defeated, the player is given the opportunity to capture the enemy. The player can then use that Folk in future battles. Nearly every enemy encountered can be used. The sheer versatility of the Folks that you use make the game challenging. The combat in this title utilizes the SIXAXIS motion control system. It involves moving the controller through the air. At first, these are pretty simple movements. They become more complicated as the narrative advances and you start leveling up. This keeps the gameplay challenging without making it inaccessible from the start. Each Folk has specific weaknesses and advantages. A substantial part of the experience is figuring out how to utilize your knowledge of each monster. There are pages scattered throughout the realm to give you hints about the weaknesses of specific bosses. With the right choices, you can defeat your enemies easily. Your main character will level up alongside your Folks. This allows you to keep track as you become a more effective player. Each of the two main characters in Folklore has a slightly different path through the game. This allows the player to play through at least twice before theyve seen everything the game has to offer. That increases this titles replay value. Both the Ellen and Keats characters have different side quests and different play styles with both encountering different creatures to capture. What this Game Republic game has to offer in the lines of a story is legitimately interesting. The plot is cerebral and grows vaster in scope with every passing chapter. This game is rated Teen. Structured at first as a typical murder mystery, it climbs to new heights later in the story. Folklore is a great title that takes you through a strange world that is unique among video games. The combat is varied and flavorful, and the plot will leave you wanting more. Make the next addition to your video game library Folklore for the Sony PlayStation 3.
