Johan Falk has become tired of his job as a policeman. Catching hooligans does not pay off, they are not punished anyway. Now he is unemployed. He would rather move abroad and take care of his new family. But it does not turn out as he had imagined… Crime Commissioner Sellberg used to be Johan’s boss and mentor. Now he is the head of the department for organised crime at Europol, the EU’s own police organization. Organised crime is growing explosively and threatens to disrupt the structure of society throughout the EU. Sellberg forms a special working group – a task force – which will fight against the major economic criminals. Johan Falk is a selfevident member of this tough group.
