Mads Mikkelsen and Eva Green star in this Western directed by Kristian Levring. Set in the 1870s, the story follows Danish soldier Jon (Mikkelsen), who brings his family to live in America after his army is defeated by the Germans. When his family is brutally murdered Jon gets his revenge but in doing so enrages the brother of the man he has killed, ruthless gang leader Delarue (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who is feared by the locals in Black Creek and is determined to bring Jon down. As he fights back and attempts to rid the town of outlaws, Jon forms an unlikely alliance with Delarue's mute sister-in-law Madelaine (Green), but can he successfully bring peace to Black Creek? The cast also includes Eric Cantona, Mikael Persbrandt, Douglas Henshall and Jonathan Pryce.
