International financial relations have become increasingly important for the development of both global and national economies. These relations are at present primarily governed by market forces with little regulatory interference at the international level. But is this absence of regulation wise? Collaborators to this volume consider various options for reform, providing relevant background; in addition, a comparative approach to national attempts for regulating international financial markets is taken.
