In a remote part of the South Carolina woods, a small Carolina pup plays with his brothers and sisters while their mother hunts rabbits. In one irreversible moment, his life changes forever. For a while, he lives happily with a human in Panacea, Florida, but he soon finds himself alone and homeless.
