Surinam born Sumy (real name Kenneth Sumter) started his musical career in the late '70s. During the early '80s Sumy signed a license deal with Philips for two singles 'The Funky "G" (Only Comes At Night)' and 'Funkin' In Your Mind' plus recording and releasing a LP on his own record label Galaxy Records. The much sought after and very rare Funkin' In Your Mind 12-inch proto-funk/disco track with vocoder is remastered from the original tapes and available for Record Store Day.

Funkin' In Your Mind is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on transparent blue vinyl.
