Compete against your friends on land, underwater, in the air and even on walls and ceilings across 48 different courses. All the tracks and characters from Mario Kart 8 on Wii U return to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, including previously released downloadable courses inspired by The Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing, Excitebike and more. In addition, some new characters appear such as Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl from Splatoon, King Boo, Dry Bones and Bowser Jr.!

You can choose from five different speed classes such as the expert challenge 150cc Mirror Grand Prix and the ultra-fast 200cc Grand Prix.

In addition to this, Battle Mode has been refined and it includes Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast, as well as the new courses Urchin Underpass and Battle Stadium and classics such as (GCN) Luigi’s Mansion and (SNES) Battle Course 1. Players can now carry two items, including items from previous Mario Kart games such as Boo, which steals items, and Feather, which gives you a higher jump in Battle Mode.

There is also a new control scheme in the game that makes it easier for beginners and young children to play the courses. Definitely good at 200cc. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe can be played in 1080p.

• Up to four friends can play on a Nintendo Switch in TV Mode or Tabletop Mode.
• Play alone or with a friend and compete online against other players around the world.
• Multiple Nintendo Switch can be linked together via the Wireless Play feature. This allows up to eight players to play against each other in the same room.
• Up to 12 game consoles in TV mode can be linked together for LAN Play. Please note that the LAN Adapter accessory, which is sold separately, is required.
