Underneath the pads is a non-slip rubber base that keeps the pad in place on any surface, so you dont have to worry about the pad folding or sliding off in the middle of a match in your favorite game. You choose which size suits your needs. Look at your mouse settings if needed, and measure how much you move the mouse in each game. You might need the XL mouse pad so you dont suddenly find your mouse lying on the floor.
