On the way West he crashes his car in the small town of Grady, and is resentfully obliged to stay there whilst his vehicle is being repaired. As the town doesn't have a doctor, Stone is soon roped in for medical help, and finds himself strangely enjoying the simpler pleasures of small-town existence.
