When installing an aftermarket radio into your vehicle an adaptor lead is often required to enable connection of the vehicles existing aerial to the new head unit. PC5-52 :

This amplified aerial adaptor fits in line with the car's aerial connection and has a built in booster to help increase signal strength.

It is designed primarily for the cars listed below which have a short aerial fitted as standard. These cars have a booster built into the original OEM set so when exchanged for a new stereo the booster is removed from the system.

If you have one of these cars and have encountered poor radio reception since changing the stereo then this is what you need.
