While it's not uncommon for artists to eventually make an album for kids, Rosie instead has done something new and different - music to comfort and soothe the parents. "Rosie plays the role of doula to parental worry and doubt." - NPR The project includes so many notable guests that Pitchfork founder Ryan Schreiber jokingly shorthanded it as "featuring the entire line up of 2007 Pitchfork Music Festival, give or take." including: Sufjan Stevens, The Shins, Iron & Wine, Alexi Murdoch, The Head and the Heart, William Fitzsimmons, The Lone Bellow, Dawn Landes, Dension Witmer, and more. Alongside the originals are several excellent reimagined covers including Mariah Carey's Always Be My Baby, The Bangles-themselves-endorsed Eternal Flame, and an intimate-to-epic version of Bjork's All Is Full of Love.
