The Bengali pronunciation is transscribed by International Phonetic Alphabet. There are ten lessons in this book which are designed pedagogically. An English speaker, starting from her/his own background, becomes acquainted with some speech sounds which are useful in Bengali word-building. The contens of the second part are designed to make bengali easy for foreigners, specially for those who will learn Bengali as a third language. Only the parts of speech, tense and case are dealt with in grammar.
