Documentary by film-maker Bill Morrison about the Canadian town of Dawson City. Formally known for its discovery of gold in 1896, Dawson City was once again in the s in 1978 when more than 500 silent film reels from the early 1900s were found buried beneath a swimming pool. After extreme restoration to preserve the surviving reels, Morrison pieced together the films to create this documentary.
